The series is set during the Westerization of an alternate Japan, where humans and spirits coexist. To solve the problems that arise between the two, human lieutenants Kei Agemaki, Riken Yoshinokazura, and Ganryu Hanakiri are partnered with half-spirit girls Zakuro, Susukihotaru, and twins Bonbori and Hozuki to form the Ministry of Spirit Affairs.

However, Zakuro cannot stand humans who accept the Westernization customs and has a severe fear of spirits. Sadly the poor young man that ended up being partnered with the outspoken girl, Zakuro , has a fear of spirits. However, Kei Agemaki does his best and eventually sees things in a different light.
During the time together both the half-spirits girls and the human males have. They can't help but feel something a little more...



This Anime has wonderful artwork. I've been so taken away seeing the beauty of the details during watching this. The music is just has lovely as the artwork. It set the mood and I can't get tired of hearing the girls sing during the battles. The characters are just lovable. There isn't a character that I ended up hating. Heck, these girls made cry! The romance parts left me blushing at the end of the episode. The Characters will leave you laughing along with them or crying along side them. This is a beauitful Anime that one should not miss out of not seeing. My only complain is that it's too short! (I want more >.< )

This series does get dark later on but I'm not going to get into it because it's more dramatic if you see for yourself!
